Process for Ordering
1. Shoot me an email with a high quality clear photo of the house. Pay attention to the angle or vantage point and where shadows fall on the house. It's difficult to paint what I can't see! I will get back to you with any questions and give you a quote for your portrait.
2. After payment, I will get started and email you a pencil sketch.
3. After your approval, I will begin painting your portrait.
4. I will contact you to give you shipping details and let you know your portrait is on the way. Portrait will be packed securely to ensure it arrives intact.
Tips for Taking Good Photos
• Take your photos during the day in natural light.
• Take your photos at a straight angle directly in front of the house.
• If there are details you would like me to include that are difficult to see, please send photos of those.
Pay homage to a beloved home of the past or celebrate new beginnings with a custom watercolor house portrait. My house portraits are approximately 8" x 10" on 140 lb. cold press watercolor paper. I add family name and/or address in calligraphy at the bottom if desired. They are perfect for framing and make excellent gifts for all kinds of occasions.
Prices begin at $175.00 plus shipping for home portraits and $250.00 for venues.
